What does a Board Member do?
Depending on availability, everyone attends a monthly or every other month hour long board meeting where your ideas can help shape the future and change the lives of kids.
Here are some other ways for you to support kids and make a difference as a board member:
GIVE YOUR TIME

Participate in board meetings and committee work

Assist with written communications such as thank-you notes or emails when needed

Support events or activities at the Ranch as your schedule allows

Help share accurate information about Kids Ranch with the community
SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE

Facilitate partnerships with professional organizations and businesses

Advise board and staff on relevant topics such as mental health, literacy, law, fundraising, finances, public relations, graphic design, technology, property maintenance, etc.
USE YOUR INFLUENCE

Act as an ambassador for Kids Ranch in the community

Help build relationships with potential partners, donors, and supporters

Share Kids Ranch’s mission and impact accurately and thoughtfully
